YES LORD YES!!!!

As if there was any doubt that our God can move mountains and carse so deeply about each and every one of us at every moment and that miracles can happen when you admit your powerlessness and give everything up to God....

HE SAID YES!!

After a traumatic weekend where we were both tested in fire and brought to our knees by our weakness, the Grace of God and the love of our Holy Mother showered down on our family and we are beginning the adoption process to bring a child with a disability home from Eastern Europe!!!!

It will take several posts for me to fill you in on the days leading up to this miracle of love and faith....

I am looking forward to it....

but for now I must work on getting passports and transferring money and.....

oh my goodness, he said YES to the deepest desire of my heart....

I get to be a mommy for the 7th time and a little guy will get a forever mommy and daddy and family....

thank you Jesus. For everything.

  4. Congratulations!

Which suburb are you in? My grandparents lived in the Tinley/Orland area. I lived downtown for 5 years. I grew up about an hour & a half from there!

  5. Thanks for the good wishes! I am still on "cloud nine" - even the fact that my youngest spilled water all over my iPad today and it now has a white screen is merely a secondary inconvenience (it is now resting in a bin of rice which I hope will dry it out, but if not HEY WHO CARES I AM BRINGING MY BABY HOME!!!!!!!!!

Nicole, I am in Frankfort, just south of Tinley Park!! I lived in the city while I went to Loyola for college(north side in Rogers Park) and law school (south side). Love your blog and praying for you...I know secondary infertility, my hubby had testicular cancer at age 31 after our first 2 boys...5 years later we had our daughter (#3), then three more bio kids later we are adopting!!!!

    God is good!
